Andrew Dice Clay To Perform at Paragon July 24 and 25
–Only comic banned for life by MTV brings outrageous brand of humor to Marksville –
Marksville, LA (July 3, 2015) Andrew Dice Clay is undoubtedly America’s most controversial and outrageous comedian. And he’s bringing his show to Paragon for his only scheduled Louisianaappearances this year, on July 24th and 25th at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $25.00.
Clay is proud to carry the reputation for shocking audiences with his profane brand of humor. It’s a persona that has made Clay “The Undisputed “Heavy Weight King of Comedy.” To this day, Clay remains the only performer banned for life from MTV. When he released his debut album, DICE, the parental advisory label simply read "Warning: This album is offensive."
But despite the media backlash, Dice’s rise to fame was meteoric. He was the first and only comedian to sell out over three hundred sports arenas across the country to an audience of more than twelve million people. He was also the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. And in 1992, Dice performed in front of the largest audience ever by a comedian when he shared the stage with Guns & Roses at the Rose Bowl.
Along the way, Dice starred in numerous feature film and television roles including Entourage (The Movie), a critically acclaimed role in Woody Allen’s Academy Award Nominated Blue Jasmine alongside Cate Blanchett & Alec Baldwin, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, a standout role in the final season of HBO’s Entourage, he has appeared in several HBO & Showtime specials (The Dice Man Cometh, Andrew Dice Clay: INDESTRUCTIBLE, Andrew Dice Clay Presents The Blue Show), released best selling DVDs (No Apologies, Dice Rules!), a string of multi-gold and platinum selling CDs (Day The Laughter Died; Filth and Face Down, Ass Up) and he has been profiled everywhere from Entertainment Tonight to Nightline. In 2009, he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice where he proudly admits he was thrown off the show first. In 2016, the Dice Man will star in DICE, a scripted comedy series on Showtime that will be very loosely based on the actor-comedian’s own life.
Dice now adds an unapologetic and uncensored autobiography to his list of credits, with the 2014 release of The Filthy Truth. Filled with no-holds-barred humor and honesty, The Filthy Truth sets the record straight and gives fans plenty of never-before-shared stories from his career and his friendships with Howard Stern, Sam Kinison, Mickey Rourke, Sylvester Stallone, Axl Rose, and countless others.
Tickets for Andrew Dice Clay are available at LA 1 Market, through Ticketmaster.com, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.
