Annual Memorial Day Ceremony To Be Held at Paragon Casino Resort

–May 25 ceremony to honor current, former service members–

Marksville, LA (May 20, 2015) –  Officials of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, Paragon Casino and veterans organizations throughout Central Louisiana extend an invitation to all veterans, their family members, and the general public to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 25th in the Grand Hall at Paragon Casino Resort. The ceremony will include the presenting of arms by the Avoyelles Parish Honor Guard and a special tribute to soldiers killed in action during the Vietnam War.

“The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana is proud to show support for our military by honoring veterans throughout Louisiana,” said Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Chairman Joey P. Barbry.  “We feel it is important to recognize those who have served, and those who continue to serve, protecting our country and our freedoms. And we must hold close the memory of our brothers and sisters who gave the ultimate sacrifice.”

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

All veterans and active military personnel can enjoy a FREE buffet on Memorial Day. Must present military ID to the Preferred Players Club to receive voucher for free buffet. Limit one per person.
